Okay Yokuslu scored in each half to give the Baggies a deserved win as PNE failed to ever really challenge the hosts on the night.
It was the third defeat in three games for Ryan Lowes’s side and sees them fall to 14th in the Championship table – although they are only two points outside of the play-off places.
Here’s how we rated the player’s performances on the night...

5. Brad Potts - 5
Brad Potts was forced to play more like a right back in the first half and even when going forward early on in the second half he was unable to make an impact. The effort is never lacking, but the quality was on Thursday. Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns

6. Ben Whiteman - 5
A poor night for North End's holding midfielder and it was his error that led to the second goal. Though playing out from the back is not an issue on the whole, Ben Whiteman's decision to turn on the ball instead of keeping it moving set West Brom on their way. Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns

7. Ryan Ledson - 6
Ryan Ledson was the only player in the North End midfield who did at least connect a few passes and seemed to want to play forward on the night. His heavy touch did present the ball to Okay Yokuslu who scored the first goal however. Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns

8. Alan Browne - 5
The North End captain simply could not get into the game on his return to the starting XI following injury. Because of West Brom's dominance Alan Browne was left chasing shadows, neither getting forward to help the strikers or be back to bolster numbers in midfield. Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
