Norwich ran out 4-0 winners at Deepdale thanks to two goals each for Teemu Pukki and Kieran Dowell.
It was a poor day for PNE who changed their formation for the game, a switch that proved not to work.
Here’s how we rated the players on the day...
13. Alvaro Fernandez - 4
The Spaniard did over a little bit more attacking intent, more so in the first half, but still got the run around and was beaten all ends up by Teemu Pukki for Norwich's fourth. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
14. Robbie Brady - 6
Put a couple of decent balls in but the game was over with when the Irishman came on. Hopefully he is fit enough to play bigger parts in PNE's upcoming games. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
15. Troy Parrott - 6
One of very few positives from the game is that Troy Parrott is now back from injury. After three months on the sidelines he will hopefully inject a spark into the forward line. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
