Ranking the 13 best matches from the Ryan Lowe era at Preston North End
The PNE boss was appointed in December 2021 - from Blackpool to Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City, we pick out the highlights
Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe has been in charge for almost two years at Deepdale - there have been some memorable matches and moments in that time.
Here, we pick out and rank the 13 best.

5. Stoke City (A) - 0-2
The bet365 Stadium has been a place of pure joy under Lowe. It's tough to pick out the best trip, but this season's gets our vote. Stoke away felt a big challenge for Preston, but they put in a classic away performance and got the job done in the Stoke sunshine. Both goals came in front of the travelling fans, with it party time after two quickfire goals.

6. West Brom (A) 1-2 W
Those early, fuzzy days under the new gaffer. There was a freshness about PNE at this point, with excitement and optimism through the roof. North End were backed tremendously at The Hawthorns and the away fans went berserk when Cameron Archer headed home for two-nil. Off the bench, Archer made himself an instant favourite and had two thousand supporters singing his name.

7. Stoke City (A) - 1-2 W
The first away match under Ryan Lowe - and how fitting that it was all about Brad Potts. The number 44 has reached heights nobody expected since that massive turning point in Stoke. What a finish it was; a brilliant turnaround win to keep the new manager buzz alive. Photo: Andrew Kearns/ Camerasport

8. Hull City (A) 0-1 W
Celebrations had been put on pause with Alan Browne's disallowed goal, but PNE broke the Hull door down a few minutes later and the away fans went wild. It was a predatory finish from that man Archer, whose touch and finish was sublime. And that celebration wasn't half good too.
