Ryan Lowe has been Preston North End manager for 890 days, with 13th, 12th and 10th placed finishes secured in the boss’ three seasons. But, which moments stand out from the Liverpudlian’s tenure so far?
From derby day victories to away day triumphs, we pick out the best nine here...
5. Coventry City 0-3 PNE, 2023/24
A contender for the best team display of Lowe's tenure at North End. Coventry were absolutely flying at this point, but PNE went there and truly tore them apart. Everyone in red that night put in a magnificent performance - Emil Riis the stand out - and Preston looked a high grade outfit. After this, you felt the play-off push could potentially be right on. | CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
6. West Brom 0-2 PNE, 2021/22
The early days under Lowe were great and there was a real buzz at West Brom, when Archer came off the bench to score on debut. There was a freshness about the team at that stage and the arrival of the Aston Villa man had everyone excited. Preston saw off the Baggies with relative ease. | Getty Images
7. Stoke 0-2 PNE, 2023/24
The bet365 Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for North End. This season's trip there was a superb day out, with PNE scoring twice in the second half to continue their fine start to the campaign. Will Keane netted both goals - in front of the travelling support - but it was Duane Holmes who changed the game, off the bench. | CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
8. PNE 2-1 Leeds United, 2023/24
Nobody gave Preston any real hope here, with the Lilywhites on a dismal run of form at the time and Leeds United flying high. But, Liam Millar sensed the chance to make himself a hero and his 89th minute strike was one of pure quality. He bent the ball into the top right corner; a last gasp win over Leeds will always feel pretty good. | Tim Markland
