Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe discussed a range of topics in his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon.
Ahead of Queens Park Rangers' visit to Deepdale on Friday night, the PNE boss was quizzed on the Rs, goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, the returning Robbie Brady and more.
Here's what he had to say on all of the above...

9. On Ali McCann's return and how Ben Whiteman fits into style of play
"That seems a long time ago, doesn't it?" said Lowe. "We know what Ali brings. So yeah, when you've got these players back fit and available it is a bonus. They are all different midfielders, aren't they? Ryan can get on the ball; Ali can get on the ball. In different games, we set up for different opposition. So yeah, Whitey is obviously a good footballer and intelligent footballer. Ali is a good footballer, who can pick second balls up around the pitch. Ryan is a second ball man - a good footballer, who can get on the ball and close the spaces. They have all got different attributes, but whoever is in there can do a job." 10. Layton Stewart knocking on the door
"Yeah, he's been knocking on the door for a while," said Lowe. "We'll use him in games we feel are suited for him. We got him on the pitch the other night, because we need to get some minutes into him. But, everything he's done in training, along with a few of the lads - they have been champing at the bit. We have a training group who play and train - when the lads are recovering - and they've been terrific in everything they've done." | National World Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns

11. Layton Stewart knocking on the door (continued)
"So, I know I can call upon whoever when I need to and they will be game ready. What Layton has had to do is build himself up and get himself stronger, physically and mentally -and fitter. That's what he's done and I think it showed in his performance against Accrington the other week and then the behind closed doors game against (Manchester) City. And then he put himself about on Tuesday night." | National World Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd

12. Queens Park Rangers and their new style under Marti Cifuentes
"I think they are a different proposition, because they've obviously got a new manager and that's no disrespect to Gareth (Ainsworth)," said Lowe. "I thought we was doing a job that was tough anyway, but when a manager comes in with new ideas - they've still got the same players and he's given other players opportunities who were probably in the dark under Gareth. And yeah, they are going to be different aren't they? I believe Queens Park Rangers have been in a false position all season, because they've got some quality players. We've just got to make sure we are right in everything we do. We've got to make sure we go toe-to-toe with them. We are at home, live on Sky, under the lights at Deepdale." | Getty Images
