The Danish striker's inclusion was one of three changes made by Alex Neil to the side which started the 1-0 home defeat to Cardiff City last Sunday.

Jordan Storey and Daniel Johnson returned to the team, with Ben Pearson and Ben Davies both ruled out by injury. Sean Maguire dropped to the bench.

Riis, signed from Randers FC at the start of October, had come on as a substitute in the Cardiff game and the win at Brentford.
