Preston North End's FA Cup ball number and third round draw details

Championship and Premier League clubs enter the competition at this stage of the competition and PNE will be ball No.33 in Monday night's draw.

The draw will be held at 7pm before the second round clash between Boreham Wood and St Albans City and be shown on ITV4 and the FA's social media channel.

Third round games are to be played between January 7 and 10, with victory worth £82,000 in prize.

There are also broadcast fees to be had if games are selected for liver coverage or extended highlights.

North End bowed out of the FA Cup at the third round stage last season, beaten 4-1 by Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park.

In fact they've gone out in this round for the last three campaigns, with the 2017/18 season seeing them reach the fourth round.
