Sinclair scored his first PNE goal in the 1-1 draw with Swansea City at Deepdale on Saturday.

It was a fine solo effort, the January signing from Celtic collecting possession 35 yards out, advancing to the edge of the box before curling a shot across the keeper into the far bottom corner of the net.

North End manager Alex Neil said: "He got himself into a pocket of space, got front-facing, dribbled, dodged a couple of players and with his weaker foot bent it into the far corner."

Surprisingly, there was no Ben Pearson in the representative side from the weekend.

The midfielder was arguably the Lilywhites' best player against Swansea with a mature and energetic performance in the engine room.
