Preston North End face Rotherham United on Friday and club captain, Alan Browne, looks set to return to the team.
The Republic of Ireland international has trained all week, after having a small operation on a hernia in his stomach. Browne was absent at Plymouth Argyle, prior to the international break, but is back in the fold. Elsewhere, Emil Riis is available again after illness - while Milutin Osmajic could feature, having recovered from his injury blow at Home Park.
But, Brad Potts is on the sidelines with a hamstring issue and Ben Whiteman remains absent with the ankle injury suffered against Stoke City. Striker, Ched Evans, is not ready to return just yet but getting closer - with manager Ryan Lowe expecting him back in mid-April. With all of that in mind, here is our predicted team for Friday's game...
1. GK: Freddie Woodman
North End's number one and has been racking up the clean sheets more often in 2024.
2. RCB: Jordan Storey
Has been in decent form and should keep his place at right centre-back.
3. CB: Liam Lindsay
Been in the heart of the defence all season long and there's no sign of that changing - especially not after his performance at Plymouth.
4. LCB: Andrew Hughes
Looking to finish the season strongly, having put a run of several starts together.
