Jayden Stockley, Daniel Johnson, Scott Sinclair and Brad Potts returned to the starting XI.

Alan Browne missed out through injury, with Ryan Ledson, Jordan Storey and Tom Barkhuizen dropping to the bench.

Johnson was given the captain's armband in the absence of Browne and with Paul Gallagher on the bench.

There was a return among the substitutes for Josh Harrop who missed the 3-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday with a slight hamstring injury.
