Preston North End shared the spoils with play-off rivals Hull City on Saturday afternoon - as it finished 0-0 at Deepdale.
Here are our talking points from the, fairly entertaining, goalless draw...
5. Something to take forward
As mentioned in recent weeks, you can always take a performance away if the result isn't there. North End couldn't take the three points they desperately craved, to go level with the Tigers in the table. But, they so easily could've done and this was another 90 minutes with more positives than negatives for the Lilywhites. Hull have caused plenty of teams problems this season with their pure style of football and they will continue to do so. But, North End were brave in their approach and probably shaded the match overall. The game ebbed and flowed and both teams had their spells of pressure on goal, without ever being totally comfortable in the match you felt. Preston now head to Southampton in a good place and they have nothing to fear, regardless of how tricky the midweek assignment may seem. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
