Here are our five talking points from Preston North End's 2-2 draw against Blackburn Rovers.
5. PNE the ones pushing
North End weren't able to lift the roof off Deepdale with a late winner, but they were the obvious side in the ascendency and you left the stadium content with Preston's performance and pursuit. It's been a gruelling week and Ryan Lowe has stuck by the players who've been delivering the goods. As Brady pointed out in his post-match interview, maybe that workload told in the second half - with both sets of players evidently fatigued. But, North End were there - in and around Blackburn's box and trying to force the issue. It was they who looked the more likely to win and even though they didn't manage to, positives can be taken from the effort put in, character shown and point picked up. Preston didn't go under when they were in a difficult spot on derby day... they now head to Coventry for a massive Friday night clash.
