Paul Huntington and Scott Sinclair came into the side after being on the bench for last Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Barnsley.

Andrew Hughes missed out through injury, with Sinclair taking the place of Emil Riis who was among the substitutes.

It looks like a change of shape for North End too, having lined-up 3-5-2 in midweek.

The personnel suit a 4-2-3-1 shape, with Huntington partnering Ben Davies in the centre of defence - Darnell Fisher and Josh Earl filling the full-back roles.

Second-year scholar Jacob Holland-Wilkinson was included on the bench.

PNE: Rudd, Fisher, Huntington, Davies, Earl, Browne, Gallagher, Barkhuizen, Johnson, Sinclair, Maguire. Subs: Bayliss, Harrop, Storey, Rafferty, Riis, Stockley, Holland-Wilkinson, O'Reilly, Ripley.
