Former Millwall and Coventry City winger wanted by Preston North End - reports
Paul Heckingbottom is said to be keen on the Crystal Palace man.
Preston North End want to sign Romain Esse on loan from Crystal Palace, reports claim.

Alan Nixon posted on his Patreon page that North End boss Paul Heckingbottom is looking at playing a new system this season involving wide players, and winger Esse, who can leave Palace on loan this summer, would be ideal on the flanks.
In an X post, Nixon added that contact has been made between the two clubs and it is up to both the Europa Conference League winners, as well as the player himself, to decide where the 21-year-old should go.
Esse has experience in the Championship with Millwall, whose academy he graduated from in 2022, and last season’s champions Coventry, who he featured for in the last four months of the 2025/26 campaign.
