Preston North End to release red and black third kit

The kit accompanies the white and navy home kit and yellow away kit and will provide another alternative for the upcoming season.

They have already named which game will see it first used, the trip to Coventry City on August 14.

The kit will be released prior to that date and will be available to buy both online and in-store from 9am on August 23. It comes with black shorts and black socks.

There are similarities in the third kit to the away strip of the 2013/14 away kit, which also had red and black stripes as well as a collar, though this season’s shirt does not have a collar.
