PNE play Millwall this Saturday at Deepdale, 3pm, and it will be their final home game in four weeks as the football season pauses to allow the World Cup to be played in Qatar.

The home side go into the game in great form having won their last three games – all coming within just six days – and are looking to make it five wins in six against the Lions in PR1. They spent the first part of this week in the play-off places for the first time under Ryan Lowe’s reign.

There will be thousands of flags available to fans as usual but they are also encouraged to bring their own flags, scarves or anything they would like to wave around to help create a better atmosphere at Deepdale to help see their side to three points.

Flags are available in bins in the concourse of the Alan Kelly Town End, the Sir Tom Finney Stand and the Bill Shankly Kop, with those sat in the Invincibles Pavilion encouraged to brings scarves or their own flags to make their presence known.

All flags should also be returned to the bins they were found in at the end of the game, as not doing so means less on offer at the next home game to get behind the Lilywhites. The funding for the flags in the summer was largely fan led, with help from both PNE and local businesses too, and displays such as those seen earlier on this season have totalled costs of around £8,000 to put together.

Supporters are also being encouraged to bring what they can to adorn the railings at the front of stands to keep North End colours running around the ground, or on segregated areas in the Bill Shankly Kop, such as their own flags or wavers.

PNE attendances this season have been far ahead of any other season since their return to the Championship and fans are hoping for one last push to see their side off into the month-long break.
