Preston North End striker could make summer exit, ex-Nottingham Forest defender joins new club

Preston North End will hope to end a three-game run without a win tomorrow evening, when they take on local rivals Blackburn Rovers in what should be a fiercely-fought contest at Ewood Park.

When the two sides met at Deepdale back in November, it was the visitors who claimed the bragging rights, with a 3-0 win at Deepdale.

Speaking head of the game, Lilywhites new boy Ched Evans revealed he's feeling at his physical best, and claimed: "I have kind of had a unique road to where I am now.

“I did not play for five years so my body has had that break, which is unprecedented in football from what I know. With regards to my body, I feel the best I have ever felt and I just want to keep doing what I am doing.”

The ex-Fleetwood Town striker scored his first goal for Preston in last weekend's 2-1 loss to Rotherham United, and will be eager to keep the ball rolling and add to his tally over the coming weeks and months.
