Preston North End retro match: Watford pushed aside in 2011

Preston North End face Watford at Deepdale at the weekend and they have had success in that fixture in the past.

11 years ago the Hornets travelled north for the final game of the season with PNE already relegated.

Phil Brown was then in charge but was attempting to lead a North End rival, ending their season with a 3-1 win over Watford.

Iain Hume, Barry Nicholson and Jamie Proctor got the goals for the Lilywhites, with Andreas Weimann netting for the visitors.
