Preston North End parted ways with eight senior players last summer, but how did their first seasons away from Deepdale go?
We take a look, here...

5. Liam Delap
Delap did make his mark in the Championship this season, scoring eight goals and assisting two more for Hull City - who finished seventh. He missed 15 games through injury, after the turn of the year. Manchester City are reportedly willing to sell him this summer, with his deal running until 2026.

6. Josh Onomah
PNE couldn't agree a longer contract for Onomah and he went on trial to Stoke City. But, the Potters didn't end up signing him and the ex-Spurs and Fulham man remains without a club. | PNEFC

7. Bambo Diaby
Diaby was signed by Xisco Munoz, who did not last long at Sheffield Wednesday. But, the centre-back retained his place in the team under Danny Rohl and helped guide the Owls to safety. He made 35 appearances in total, scoring once. | Getty Images

8. Matt Olosunde
The American joined JD Cymru Premier champions, The New Saints, on a one-year deal in February. He said: "The pull of European football and the opportunity to play at the highest level really excites me. The club has a winning mentality and I’m looking forward to contributing to that. | CameraSport - Rich Linley
