PNE’s results have picked up of late and their performance against Coventry City has given many fans plenty of hope going into this weekend’s game against the Hornets.
North End’s record at Vicarage Road isn’t great, but their away record this season is, so who knows what could happen.
Ryan Lowe has players returning to the fold that he can choose from, with Ben Whiteman and Robbie Brady serving suspensions for red cards lately, and Greg Cunningham likely to return from injury. The suspensions aren’t over, though, with Liam Lindsay missing the next two games after picking up 10 yellow cards.

5. CB: Greg Cunningham
He missed out against Coventry through injury but that might have been with half an eye on the weekend, Liam Lindsay is banned so Greg Cunningham is the obvious replacement on the left side of the defence. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley

6. RWB: Brad Potts
Brad Potts has been good since returning to the side, with Alan Browne needed in midfield too there's no one else to come in. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd

7. CM: Ben Whiteman
Ben Whiteman will have a point to prove having missed the last three games due to a red card against Luton. Ryan Ledson has had a run of games too so Lowe may look to rest him. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd

8. CM: Daniel Johnson
He's looked back to his best lately, particularly against Coventry, and if Daniel Johnson is on his game, North End have a much better chance of winning. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
