Preston North End were deservedly beaten 3-1 at Portsmouth on Saturday afternoon.
Here are our player ratings from a dire day at Fratton Park...
9. Duane Holmes - 3
One of three changes made by Heckingbottom at the interval. The game had passed him by really and took to long on the ball, when he did have the chance to lead an attack. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
10. Sam Greenwood - 4
Improved after the break slightly, but was on the fringes of the game for most of it. | CameraSport - Alex Dodd
11. Emil Riis - 6
Kept a cool head to score his goal. A couple of penalty appeals were turned down. A tough day up there overall. | Getty Images
12. Ryan Ledson - 6
A nice assist, five minutes after coming on. More like it in midfield but ultimately not enough to spark a comeback. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
