Preston North End were beaten 1-0 by Hull City in Saturday’s clash at the MKM Stadium - Jaden Philogene scoring the second half winner.
Below are our player ratings from the match.
9. Alan Browne - 8
Was the main threat in PNE’s side and the heartbeat of the performance. Created a chance for Millar and had a massive penalty shout turned down on 47 minutes, at 0-0. Didn’t deserve to be on the losing side. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
10. Liam Millar - 6.5
Had a few direct runs at Hull’s defence and saw a good chance deflect wide in the second half. Made way after looking a little bit leggy, but had been an outlet and threat. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
11. Will Keane - 5
Had to make way on 30 minutes along with Cunningham. Was seen to by the physio and brought off straight away. Wasn’t able to turn an early opening into a chance for PNE. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
12. Kian Best - 6
Handled the occasion well after being thrust on to the pitch first half. Some sloppy moments but looked confident and got about the pitch well. | Dave Howarth/CameraSport
