Preston North End were beaten 1-0 at Birmingham City as Jay Stansfield struck home the 68th minute winner at St Andrew's.
Here are our player ratings from the defeat.
9. Robbie Brady - 7
One of the better performers on the day, impressively managing 90 minutes again. Got through in the first half and pulled it back for Riis, which was a big chance. | Getty Images
10. Will Keane - 6
Always on the move and tried to make things happen. One positive run into the box during the first half. Made way with 20 minutes to go, on a booking. | CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
11. Emil Riis - 6
Tidy enough with his back to goal, but will be frustrated not to have converted the chance Brady created for him in the first half - even if he may have expected the Irishman to shoot himself. | CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
12. Liam Millar - 6.5
Was PNE's obvious threat in the closing stages but Birmingham got bodies on the line to thwart the efforts he did have. | Getty Images
