Here are our player ratings.
Starting XI
Daniel Iversen: Good save from McGrandles, Good claims from crosses. Poor distribution. Beaten at far post for goal. 6
Harry Clarke: Tried to create when in possession, some nice whipped crosses into the box. Had a go at goal himself. Couple of reckless fouls. 6.5
Odel Offiah: Lost Freddie Draper for the goal. Good on the ball and looked largely confident in what was, again, a less familiar role. 6
Jordan Storey: Saw an effort cleared off the line. Fairly faultless, some big headed clearances over the course of the game. 6.5
Andrija Vukcevic: Another strong performance. A threat from crosses and throw-ins on his side, came out on top in most 1v1s. Left Street unmarked in dangerous areas a couple of times. 6.5
Jordan Thompson: Solid showing. Physical as usual and won his duels. Not as many positive passes as in previous games. Poor crosses. 6
Liam Gibbs: A solid full debut. Covered a lot of ground. Should’ve won more in the air. 6
Stanley Mills: Excellent crossing, not afraid to shoot from tough angles. Outnuscled in 1v1s. 6.5
Alfie Devine: Decent efforts from outside the box and really nice build up play. Delivery from corners had mixed results. Quieter second half. 7
Callum Lang: Kept very quiet and lost out in 1v1s. 5
Johnny Kenny: Aggressive on the counter, doesn’t give up the ball easily. Snatched at a couple of efforts. 6
