Both sides had their moments in the game and North End had two chances cleared off the line as the goals continue to evade them.
Here’s how we rated the PNE players on the day...
13. Ben Woodburn - 6
Didn't get much time to get into the game but it is good to see the Welshman back onto the pitch after his bright performance at Wolves was cut short in August. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
14. Ali McCann - 6
Like Parrott he seemed to have energy when he came on and tried to put himself about and link with the forward players but five minutes isn't enough for him to have an impact. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
