Preston North End pair Jayson Molumby and Alan Browne have been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Serbia, Luxembourg and Qatar

PNE captain Browne will be hoping to collect his 12th cap whilst Molumby has five to his name so far.

Stephen Kenny's men will play on March 24, March 27 and March 30 in a busy international break for Ireland.

Browne will have some time to recover before and after the break though due to his suspension for a straight red card against Middlesbrough.

the pair were involved in the last international break, both playing against England in a friendly at Wembley, with Molumby also playing as Ireland were beaten 1-0 by Wales but was not involved as they drew 0-0 with Bulgaria. Browne featured only in the friendly against the Three Lions.

Their compatriot Sean Maguire, who recently made a return from injury, is not selected.

PNE's representatives will be joined by a couple of their former teammates, wingers Daryl Horgan and Callum Robinson both called up.
