Crowe goes into Brig to cover for Danny Roccia who broke his hand in an accident in the gym and will be available for Saturday's game against Morpeth Town.

PNE's fourth choice 'keeper, Crowe's only game for North End came in the FA Cup last season against Doncaster Rovers, a 3-0 defeat.

Crowe has occasionally been seen on the bench in his time at Deepdale but not so much of late, though he is still a part of the goalkeeping group and warms up with them on a matchday.

Brig are currently 11th in the NPL Northern Premier League and Morpeth are just a point and place ahead of them in the table.

The 24-year-old will be in line to play 10 games throughout his loan spell.
