The ratings are in from Ashton Gate as PNE claimed a 2-0 win over early play-off rivals Bristol City.
Goals in both halves from Lewis Dobbin and Alfie Devine secured a brilliant victory to move the Lilywhites up to fourth in the standings.
Here’s who impressed at Ashton Gate.

5. Andrew Hughes - 7
Hughes had a fairly quiet afternoon in Bristol as he did his defensive duties to a tee. The centre-back was good in the air to silence Armstrong and Riis. | CameraSport - Ian Cook

6. Ben Whiteman - 8
Classy performance from the skipper, who controlled proceedings in the middle of the park. Whiteman was good in possession as he looked to calm the play down in a frenetic encounter at Ashton Gate. | CameraSport - Richard Martin-Roberts

7. Brad Potts - 8
(Replaced by Pol Valentin on 46 minutes) Second start of the season for the popular number 44, who showed real hunger and desire in a gutsy first-half display. Potts’ confidence and performances are getting better and better as he continues to build-up to full strength after a significant period out due to injury. | Camera Sport

8. Jordan Thompson - 8
(Booked) (Replaced by Ali McCann on 73 minutes) A classy performance from the midfielder, who was really impressive in possession. Thompson showed brilliant tenacity to win the ball off Adam Randell in the middle of the park before playing through Lewis Dobbin for PNE’s opener.
