PNE suffered their first defeat in seven matches on Monday evening after a 2-1 loss to Wrexham.

Nathan Broadhead and Ollie Rathbone’s goals either side of half-time were enough to see off Paul Heckingbottom’s men, who did pull a goal back through Alfie Devin on 84 minutes.

The Red Dragons were able to hold onto maximum points in North Wales, with the Lilywhites dropping out of the play-offs.

1,279 PNE supporters made the trip to the Racecourse Ground on Monday for North End’s final game of 2025.
