Preston North End and the EFL to thank the NHS

Preston North End and their fellow EFL clubs are to say a big thank-you to NHS workers when the season resumes.

For the remainder of the season, all shirts will carry the ‘NHS Rainbow – Thank You’ emblem.

Before the Championship matches next weekend - the first since the season was suspended in March- there will be a period of applause.

Teams taking part in the League One and League Two play-offs will have the same emblem on their shirts.

The first leg of the League Two play-offs are on Thursday (June 18), with the second legs a week on Monday (June 22). The final at Wembley is on June 29.

In League One, the play-off semi-finals are on July 3 and July 6, with the final on July 13, again at Wembley.
