Preston North End have dipped into the free agent market over the last few years, on plenty of occasions.
Last summer, the Lilywhites brought in Daniel Iversen, Jordan Thompson, Pol Valentin, Michael Smith, Andrija Vukcevic and Thierry Small on free transfers - though the latter did demand training compensation.
PNE then went on to add Jamal Lewis to their squad, a few months into the campaign. With this summer promising to be another busy one for Preston, it would be little surprise to see that particular market tapped into once again.
With that in mind, below is a full rundown of the Championship players set to be out of contract this summer (clubs do possess 12 month options, in some cases).
