The goalkeeper made two good saves in the first half in one-on-one situations and another more comfortable one after the break. Played well.
Struggled against the pace of Lawrence down that side of the pitch and was booked for a foul on Bennett. Subbed at half-time.

Had to battle against Chris Martin who proved effective for Derby in the first half. Played the closing stages up front as PNE went for broke.
The centre-half was caused plenty of problems by the Derby attack. Should have scored in the second half and limped off in the 72nd minute.
Like his defensive colleagues, had a busy first half. Was pushed high up the pitch in the second in the half-time reshuffle.
Not quite himself having taken a bang in the face early on. More steady as the game went on and PNE got on the front foot.
Looked slightly rusty on his return to the side after injury. Had a couple of shots but didn't really get into the game
Service up to him on the right wing in the first half was in short supply. Got more in the game when playing as a striker. Had a goal disallowed.
Started as the No.10 before moving to play at right-back in the second half. More effective at the back than he had been in midfield
Had a couple of runs, one leading to a free-kick early on. Struggled to make an impact in the first half but better in the second half.
Sent a volley just wide in the first half. Worked hard but PNEs approach didnt suit his game and he was subbed at the interval.
Prestons best player on the day, even if he only played for 45 minutes. Assured on the ball and passed it well
Got on the ball and came inside off the right wing on to his left foot to try and make things happen.
Replaced the injured Ben Davies and looked very steady at the back. Hit the post with a shot in the closing stages
