Here are the player ratings for the North End side.

Decent debut for the keeper who made good saves from Bannan and Fletcher. Maybe a touch hesitant on his line for the third goal.
Played a big part in the second goal and got forward well. Very steady display from the right-back.
Solid first half, handled Fletcher well but found the going tougher later in the second as Wednesday threw their big strikers on.
PNEs player of the season helped stave off the visitors in the first 45 minutes but had more to cope with when Nuhiu and Joao came on.
Strong performance out of position at left-back, using the ball well. Awful tackle on him by Iorfa for the red card.
The midfielders strongest display for a good while, adding bite to an engine without a recognised holder.
Set the ball rolling for the opening goal and gave North End that bit of experience needed at times.
Played on the right-hand side of the attack, worked hard and had a sight on goal in either half.
Played in the No.10 role behind the striker and linked the play well. Scored the third goal but hurt his ankle doing so and later came off.
Put over the cross for the first goal and worked hard down the left-wing. He is looking a lot sharper after his return from injury.
Headed PNE in front, had a hand in the third goal and won so much in the air as the targetman. North End played to his strengths.Starman.
PNEs first change, replacing the injured Browne in the 74th minute.
Took over from Robinson with three minutes left. Had a couple of good runs.
Stoppage-time sub for Rafferty in order to add height in both boxes and went straight up front for a corner.
