Ryan Lowe pre-match
"I will definitely show my appreciation to the (Plymouth) fans. Albeit when you leave, there are always some grumbles. It's been a long time since and there has been another manager leave, since then." - more here!
Ian Foster on PNE
"I would still put them into the mix for the top six... They are a very physical and quite direct team, so we have got to be ready for what they're going to throw at us." - read more from the Plymouth Argyle boss here!
Early team news
Plymouth have a clean bill of health, remarkably. But, attacking full back Bali Mumba misses out through suspension for the hosts. As for PNE, Ben Whiteman is out with the ankle injury sustained last weekend and Ched Evans is still sidelined. There have also been rumours of Alan Browne being a doubt, though Ryan Lowe did not mention that in his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
Good afternoon!
Welcome, from a wet and slightly windy Plymouth! We've made the long trip down to Home Park, where it's all set up for a cracking final clash before the international break. North End will be backed by more than 1,000 supporters - a terrific following on the southwest coast. Team news to come at 2pm!
