Daniel Johnson opened the scoring before Sean Maguire doubled PNE's lead in the second half.
Here's how the players fared on the night...
1. Declan Rudd - 6
Wasn't tested massively but as always did what he needed to with minimal fuss. Made some strong saves and commanded his area, showed a bit of fight too.
2. Darnell Fisher - 6
Not in the game as much as he'd have liked, did a good job one v one against the opposite wing back but not too much in the forward areas from him.
3. Paul Huntington - 7
Reliable in defending his goal with everything he has, made some important tackles, blocks and headers as PNE repelled everything thrown at them.
4. Ben Davies - 7
Like Huntington, was impressive throughout. His clearances are never random, always manages to get them into good areas no matter his position. A fine performance.
