Ahead of Saturday's friendly at Deepdale, here are some of those to turn out for both the Lilywhites and the Red Devils...
5. Matty James
Now a firm favourite at Leicester, James spent the first two loans of his career at Deepdale. He scored 10 minutes into his debut having joined in the winter and came back the following season, back in 2010. He was recalled alongside two others when Darren Ferguson was sacked.
6. Nobby Stiles
After a legendary career at Man United, with over 300 appearances and a European Cup to his name, Stiles ended his playing days at PNE before becoming manager of the club. He spent two years at Deepdale as a player and four as boss.
7. Sam Johnstone
A local lad, Sam Johnstone played for Euxton Villa before being picked up by Man United and progrssing through their youth ranks. He joined his hometown club on loan in 2014 on a season long loan and helped them to a Wembley victory in the play-off final.
8. Josh King
Josh King was another player getting his first taste of senior football at Deepdale, as he joined on loan under Darren Ferguson in 2010. He failed to find the net in eight games and was recalled as Ferguson Jr was sacked. He's sicne gone on to be a regular in the top flight with Bournemouth.
