Friday's 5pm cut-off was for domestic deals, with the international window having shut on October 5.

Huddersfield Town made a late enquiry about taking David Nugent on loan for the rest of the season but that didn't materialise.

Emil Riis was North End's one signing of the window, the striker joining in early October from Danish club Randers FC in a £1.2m deal.

On the outgoing front, PNE allowed Josh Ginnelly (Hearts), Ethan Walker (Carlisle), Jack Baxter (Chorley), Joe Rodwell-Grant (Chorley) and Jacob Holland-Wilkinson (Lancaster City) go out on loan.

In the next few days, they will register a 25-man squad with the EFL. In addition, they can register an unlimited number of Under-21 players.

There's not long to wait for the next transfer window, that opens in 76 days.
