Before the suspension in March, three consecutive defeats meant Alex Neil’s men’s lead over the chasing pack was cut to just one point.

1. Relegation scene setter
Just four points separate 17th place Stoke City and Charlton in 22nd, meaning the Potters, Huddersfield Town who play Wigan Athletic, Middlesbrough, Hull City and the Addicks are right in the thick of it. Luton and Barnsley haven’t given up hope of survival yet.

2. Biggest game of the weekend?
Every game in the Championship this weekend carries its own magnitude but Hull (21st) against Charlton (22nd) surely takes it? Three points for Lee Bowyer’s side and they’re out the bottom three. A win for Grant McCann and co opens up an important five-point gap.

3. This could get interesting at Boro
Middlesbrough boss Jonathan Woodgate has SEVEN first-team players due to be out-of-contract on June 30, however excluding Daniel Ayala, he is hopeful those individuals will commit until the end of the campaign.

4. The play-off picture
The race for 6th is wide open and there could also be some defining fixtures that take place this weekend with teams close to each other in the table going head-to-head - including Blackburn vs Bristol City and Millwall vs Derby.
