Ryan Ledson also comes in for his first start, with both having started in midweek against Huddersfield Town in their 4-1 Carabao Cup win.

It is a change of shape from the last league game, though it is the same as in Yorkshire, with captain Alan Browne and McCann likely to start in the no.10 roles in behind Troy Parrott who will be leading the line.

There is a chance for North End to avenge their heavy defeat at Kenilworth Road last season, where they were beaten 4-0. They have fortified the midfield this time around.
