There isn’t much time for teams around the league to get their business in order, especially with games coming thick and fast in the league and domestic cup.

1. Rams boss keen on Ibe
Derby County boss Phillip Cocu is keen on free agent Jordan Ibe. The Rams manager remained coy on how close a potential deal is. The former Liverpool attacker left Bournemouth in the summer. (Various)

2. Owls lead way for United starlet
A host of Championship clubs are battling it out for Manchester United starlet James Garner. A move to Huddersfield has been ruled out, while Sheffield Wednesday could be in pole position with Welsh duo Swansea City and Cardiff City no longer in the running for the 19-year-old. Former Derby County defender Cyrus Christie is set for a move to Nottingham Forest. He was part of Fulham’s promotion winning side last campaign but could stay in the Championship. (BBC)
