Football data site Transfermrkt have compiled an alternative table for the current Championship campaign, which determines how reliant clubs are on goals from their English players, by removing all their goals from the results. Here's a look at how it affects Preston North End's standing in the table.
9. Middlesbrough - 16th
Boro spring up from 19th, with five more points and five fewer losses, too. They also improve their goal difference, which rises from -10 to -5.
10. Millwall - 15th
The Lions' play-off hopes are in tatters, after dropping like a stone from 8th to 15th. Englishmen Jed Wallace and Jack Smith'scombined total of 21 league goals have carried them this season, it seems.
11. Charlton Athletic - 14th
The Addicks power their way up the table! All those Lyle Taylor goals have come in handy, that's for sure. They're five points better off, and have five of their losses wiped out.
12. Wigan Athletic - 13th
A solid seven place leap for the Latics, here. There's a seven point boost, and five fewer losses on the record books.
