Daniel Johnson is Preston North End's player of the year
North End announced the winners of their annual awards via Twitter on Tuesday evening, Alex Neil having handed out the trophies at the training day earlier in the day.
Fans voted Johnson their player of the year after the midfielder scored 12 goals and provided six assists this season - one which ends at Bristol City on Wednesday night.

Hide AdHe has in the main been used in the No.10 role this season, his move up the pitch certainly proving a success.
Johnson was also the choice of his team-mates as the campaign's best performer, with him also collecting the players' player of the year award.
Tom Barkhuizen's superb winner against Blackburn at Deepdale in October was voted goal of the season.
He curled a fine finish from the left hand side of the box into the far top corner as Preston came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

Hide AdEthan Walker was named scholar of the year, the winger having signed his first pro contract earlier in the season.
Declan Rudd won the PNE Community and Educational Trust's community player of the year award, the goalkeeper having done a lot of work with the trust's mental health programme.
The PFA Community Champion award went to striker Louis Moult, his work with the Big Sleep Out event getting deserved recognition.
