It was a hectic transfer deadline day for Preston North End as Paul Heckingbottom boosted his squad with two new faces.
After a weekend of speculation suggested Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Andrew Moran was set to join North End, the Republic of Ireland international officially arrived at Deepdale after a deal worth a reported £1m was agreed with the Premier League club.
That was quickly followed by a club record deal for Portsmouth winger Callum Lang as the former Pompey man secured what he described as a ‘perfect’ move.
He told iFollow PNE: “I’m really happy to be here. It’s been a late one, quite last-minute, but I'm really excited to get going. I think this was a good move for me. I'm really thankful for my time at Portsmouth, but I feel like this next step is the perfect one for me. I'm excited about what the club's trying to do here, and I think I can really help on the pitch also. I know what I can do at this level, and I'm really excited to do so and show the fans what I can bring as a player.”
They were just two of a whole host of moves completed by Championship clubs on deadline day - but what other deals were concluded by clubs across the second tier?
