Brentford v Preston North End team news: Emil Riis on the bench, Brad Potts, Andrew Hughes and Joe Rafferty back in
New Preston North End signing Emil Riis Jakobsen was handed a place on the bench for the clash with Brentford at the Bretnford Community Stadium.
Jakobsen was signed from Danish club Randers on Thursday evening for £1.2m but only had one full training session with his new team-mates, hence a substitute role.
Brad Potts, Andrew Hughes and Joe Rafferty returned to the starting XI as North End manager Alex Neil made three changes to the side beaten by Stoke City.
Tom Barkhuizen missed out through suspension, with Jordan Storey and Jayden Stockley moving to the bench.
Neil switched formation back to 4-2-3-1 after going with a 3-4-1-2 the Stoke game.
This is PNE's first visit to Brentford's new ground, built at Kew Bridge about a mile from their former Griffin Park home.
