LIVE: Stoke City vs PNE

PNE get the game underway at Stoke!

Whiteman shot saved

Ben Whiteman looks to bend an effort into the far corner but Davies is down to save and holds on.

Campbell’s effort on target

PNE cause a bit of mayhem in the Stoke box thanks to Johnson’s cross but the Potters counter and Campbell checks inisde from the right side of the box, his effort always going wide of the far post.

Fresh from a penalty claim, the skipper picks himself up for a following corner and attacks it with vigour, rising highest but directing his header wide.

Hughes to the rescue

Andrew Hughes is twice on hand inside his own six yard box to keep the Potters at bay as they crossed a corner in from the left.

First Batth headed at goal before Fletcher prodded it on the rebound but both were foiled by the Welshman.

Half Time: Stoke 0-0 PNE

It is goalless at the break in a game with very little between the two sides.

North End had their moments as did the home side, with Stoke probably edging it so far.

There was so little disruption in the game and so little between the two sides that there was not even any time added on at the end of the half.

The second half is underway!

Ben Wilmot fires a goal of the season contender in the top corner. Stunning.
