Ben Whiteman sends an arching ball in from the right and the German rises to header the ball down and in off the post from around 12 yards out!
North End keep the pressure on, play the ball well through the Coventry defence and the cross to the far post looks to pick out Browne but its deflected narrowly wide of the post.

North End once again work it well, Whiteman clipping the ball forward for Browne to play into Riis. The Dane turned his man inside and out and his low cross is behind for a corner.
Whiteman’s delivery is just over the head of Storey but PNE keep possession.

PNE take a quick free kick and Riis collected the ball on the edge of the box, he turned inside of his marker and smashed the ball in at the near post!

North End get a long awaited win!
Coventry took the lead in the first half, Tyler Walker getting time in PNE’s box to pick out the top corner.
The Lilywhites were much improved in the second half, equalising through an excellent Patrick Bauer header from an equally excellent Ben Whiteman cross.
Emil Riis gave PNE the lead, a quick free kick from Alan Browne found the Dane who bear his man and smashed the ball in at the near post.
