LIVE: PNE vs Huddersfield Town

More pressure from the home side sees Ben Whiteman try his luck from distance but after a deflection off a defender it hits Cunningham and comes away.

Whiteman is adjudged to have seen O’Brien to the ground around 25 yards out, left of centre.

Duane Holmes’ effort is safely in the Town End.

Johnson slides Archer in down the left side of the box and he looks to find the far corner on his left foot but pulls it too far, in the end it narrowly goes out for a throw in.

Cunningham down receiving treatment

Greg Cunningham is being treated for an injury picked up off the ball, Josh Earl is being readied.

Greg Cunningham heads straight down the tunnel with the physio as Josh Earl replaces him.

A lovely PNE move almost sees them take the lead!

Whiteman started the move off as he found Johnson, he played the ball into Cameron Archer who returned the favour round the corner to get the midfielder in behind the line of the defence.

Johnson’s low cross into the middle was met by Evans who saw his shot from close range saved by Nicholls. Anywhere but straight at the Town ‘keeper and it would have been 1-0.

Three more minutes added on

There will be three more minutes added onto the end of the first half.

Half Time: PNE 0-0 Huddersfield

It ends goalless at the break, with little to split the two sides.

North End had the best chance of the half, a well worked move saved from just inside the six yard box as Evans was denied.

PNE get the second half underway!

Johnson plays a ball into the area that Archer does well to control and then shows nice feet to work a little bit of room to fire across goal but it’s easy for the ‘keeper in the end.
