North End get the ball forward and Archer lays off Johnson whose deflected effort sees Riis try an overhead kick but it is wide.

Peterborough’s free kick hits the wall and they recycle possession, crossing into the middle, winning a flick on and Clarke-Harris prods at goal from six yards out but can’t get enough power to beat Iversen.

Norburn has time to take aim 25 yards out but Iversen drops on the effort.

Peterborough continue to have the better of it, Clarke-Harris getting down the left and crossing for Ward who hits the bar from 12 yards out, though he is flagged for offside.

Earl is dispossessed inside his own half, Posh break and Reece Brown strikes from the edge of the box and it narrowly goes past the post.

There will be one more minute played at the end of the half.

North End are not at it so far, with Peterbrough having the better of the chances.

The Lilywhites are unable to keep possession and are being outfought at times against the Championship strugglers.
