North end took th lead through Emil Riis, being played in down the right and confidently slotting the ball into the corner.
He doubled PNE’s lead after the ball presented itself to him following a collision of keeper and defender, tapping into an empty net.
Morecambe pulled a goal back four minutes into injury time, O’Connor finding the net at the far post from a free kick.
They were level in the second half, Cole Stockton collecting the ball brilliantly before matching the touch with a fine finish.
North end got themselves back in front quickly, Ryan Ledson smashing the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Sepp van den Berg made it four, turning home Greg Cunningham’s cross.
