LIVE: Coventry City vs PNE

North End apply the pressure to Coventry, preventing them clearing and knocking the ball around nicely.

They fail to pull the trigger however despite multiple opportunities to do so.

There will be one more minute added on at the end of the first half.

Half Time: Coventry City 0-0 PNE

There is nothing to split the two sides at the break.

Coventry started the game the better of the two, Waghorn heading over and O’Hare causing problems.

North End grew into the game and has chances of their own, Ched Evans forcing a save from Simon Moore in the Sky Blues’ goal.

PNE get the second half underway!

Evans gets down the right, squares it for Archer and his shot is deflected back the way of Evans who heads at goal but the ‘keeper pushes it away.

Earl cuts inside, lays into Johnson’s path who controls it and looks to bend it into the corner but Moore is down to make a difficult save as the ball bounced.

Maatsen volleys wide

Coventry are beginning to get going in the second half, Maatsen collects the ball at left wing back and volleys past Iversen’s near post.

Van den Berg to the rescue

Lindsay and Hughes go for the same ball as O’Hare backheels the ball through to Waghorn.

He has on van den Berg to beat and tries to go back and forth but the Dutchman gets a toe in and stops the attack.

Cameron Archer collects a loose ball, gets it out of his feet and just pulls it wide of the post.

Evans heads at goal

Archer and Johnson link up down the left side, the latter lifts a ball into the middle and Evans can’t generate enough power to beat Moore.
